Design by LEFTOVERS

Two talented girls from Sweden believes in rebirth of old things, giving them a new life, maybe a new home.  As they say pre-loved can be re-loved. All furniture has very different styles so there is something for everyone. I personally love below even if they dont go together at all. I guess one for my cozy craft room if I had one, the other 2 for my loft in NY and the last one for my miami summer house. Oh yeah if that only was true!

Design by leftovers.

..the day after I will start all over again

‘I will love you allways and forever, and the day after I will start all over again’. That was the embroydered words on a doll that was fotographed in Bloom magazine a long time ago. One morning also a long time ago I sneaked that photo down in my, now husband, pocket before he left for work. Now the image is gone but the frase is still true and today on this day that is not St Valentines I hope you read it – you, who are mine – just remember it.

On St Valentine’s I had a lot of lovely things planned but at the end I ended up doing very few….one that I didn’t end up doing it below…rolled printed and decorated paper hung up on a string and filled with goodies.

Maybe for Sam’s birthday in june?

New crafting books ( or is it craft books? )

Anyhow love getting parcels by mail and having to go to the post office and ask for it and to carry it home and to sit calmly down on my favorite armchair and slowly unravel the inside…that is what i did today. And not to my surprice ( since it was from me ) I got 3 crafting books from Amazon! The Handmade marketplace by Kari Chapin, Printin by hand by Lena Corwin and as per below adorble cover Little stitches for little ones by Amy Butler. Post for Fabriken.

the Water footprint project

The Virtual Water project that I just happened to stumple upon while surfing the world wide web is pretty amazing: trying to show the world how much fresh water is needed to produce certain selected products.
If you have an Iphone you can also download their application interactive infographics to become more conscious about how much of fresh water products such as what you have on your plate or what you are about to buy at the supermarket actually needs. The poster is pretty cool too…
Have an amazing weeking – Im up to sowing,  playing and cooking…i think. And i need to finsish my new swedish crime novel.

Everywhere I see pink…

could it be that love is in the air?
Love the aquarelle feather painting and the livingroom is just so light and airy still very cozy mixing
different textures and adding color to the natural canvas. A babydress from my Blueberries & Milk and
an adorable wedding shoe. Recycle your tea tin jars for fresh picked flowers and use some
vintage plates to organize your jems.
