Kaffe Fassett! I saw an exhibition with him a couple of years back in Stockholm. My jaw just dropped and I walked around in awe for hours. What an amazing and versatile artist! Never seen anything like it. Really i dont know how he does it…I just dont get it. I take of my hat ( if I had one ) for him!
I wish you all had a chance to see his work – even if you your not into needlepoint nor quilting nor mosaic or painting and knitting im sure you can still appreciate the beauty and time he is putting down on each piece. I mean, my dad who is not that much into needle point still thought this guy rocks! ( not his exact words but…)
So please visit his website and let me know what you think! Just consider this: he has had an exhibition at V&A…

I know we on the northern hemisphere are finally moving into spring but for those who aren’t and for those who just feel like pyssla ( swedish word for crafting i guess ) then go to Craftzine and see how you can instead of just trowing your sweaters away actually use them, thus recycle to make something sweet and usefull as these long johns below!
Aren’t they just so cute!

I have been absent for some days now. I have practiced the art of doing nothing. And it is an art.
We all just keep running around chasing for something that we think will finally make us happy? content? fullfilled?
I dont know - I think sometimes doing nothing is the best you can do. And Im not saying every day , every minute of the year…im saying sometimes. And Im saying it because it good for you, its healthy, its recharge your batteries and it makes you realize that the good things in life are mostly for free…
like falling in love all over again, like treasuring our friendships, like just looking at my marvellous SAM and have your heart poor over with love, walking along the beach, smell the flowers or just sleep.
