I had a great time at the beach all saturday just playing with my son, relaxing in the sand, having lunch at a chiringuito and today we went to see eagles up in the montain – what grace…

So vacation is soo over and im soo back to work…but i wanted to share with you             some of the moments we have to keep for rainy days in november.

So perfect and so quite. This was were we stayed the first week.  We had a little house were we has breakfast on the veranda and where we played cards and had some wine in the evenings. Not to exciting but very relaxing and I think that was what i needed.

Then we had food food food…I gained about 3 kg but hey that happens when your in Italy.

Pasta con pesce spada, pasta con alice, pasta a la norma, cannoli, granita a la mandorla, paste de mandorla, risotta a frutti di mare e vino tanto vino!

We went to this perfect little village called ERICE up up on a montain. Stunning. But the best part was the little sweets they made out of almond paste….yummi!

This island has been influenced by so many different cultures. The food combinations are excellent and rich and the variation of architecture is fantastic. Especially the arab influence.

Of course we want to the beach too…we found after walking up and down on stony little hikes small white beaches with turquoise water. From the boat trip we took one day we saw pieces of heaven…

There was also a lot of freesbie ( how do you spell that .. )going on.

I can lay in the shadow and read a good book on the beach but I cant just lay there under the sun.. I have to do something. Swim or play.

Like with this toy shark we all came to love See below…a rare photo of the 2 of us together. Happy family on vacation!After a week on one side of the island we headed for Taormina and its splendour. We hit it of perfectly. Having our friends with us we went for lunches on the beach, barbecuing and dining and wine..ing. Lovely memories..

Today bullfighting was banned in Catalunya. It will be effected from the year 2012. I am moved to tears and so so so happy!

Idag sa blev tjurfaktingen i Catalunya forbjuden. Detta beslut galler fran och med 2012. Jag ar rord till tarar…helt underbart!

Just went to check out the Garance Dore blog for some fashion inspiration…i didnt find that – i found something far to better. SUMMER at the Surf Lodge, Long Island!!! Im stuck in my office and im just longing for my 2 precious vacation weeks that is coming up.  Why only 2 weeks? Why cant I just have a job like surfer, skibumb, millionaire or garden designer…but I do have mr Jack …as least on CD!  and on the video below. And that makes my day!

Och varfor kan inte jag vara professionell surfare, snowboardare, millionar eller tradgardsdesigner…fast jag har ju mr JACK…iallafall pa CD och pa video lite langre ner har pa denna post.
