ecological living – style without compromise

Kuba cloth

I have this beutifull KUBA CLOTH in my home – tucked away somewhere since i dont seem to find a place for it out in the open. It’s a shame. Kuba cloth is stunning handkraft made in CONGO by the Kuba people. Its an ancient craft – maybe the oldest in Africa. My¬† lovely piece I got when working in Florence for a bag company. We wanted to make bags with these fabrics but production wise it was just not possible. And at the end I am glad it turned out that way.

Somehow the fast fashion industry does not match with well handkrafted art unless you make fashion into and art and that now a days we rarely see.

Have a lovely weekend you all !
