DACE – canadian fashion brand
Dace Moore is the girl behind the canadian WW brand DACE. The look is very clean, fresh and crispy. Young and easy to wear. The collection has just the right amount of trend percentage – she is not overdoing it but nor ignoring what’s happening on the streets. And its a very ageless collection too, very flattering.
I once heard that its pointless to make ecological fashion garments in a non ecological collection since you have to put so much money into the marketing of those pieces. I never understood that. Why should I look at ecological pieces differently then on non ecological pieces? I mean in a pure estetic matter it does not matter so why not do it? You are not marketing 100 % cotton if you do that – you are marketing a look most of the times, so why do you have to think you have to invest it marketing when using organic cotton? I hope you understand my point.
Its just not a good enough reason not to try to take responsability and do it. So that is why I especially like DACE. They try doing organic when they can, plus they manufacture and produe locally.
I would love to wear one of these beautifull organic cotton dresses below during the hot summer here in Barcelona. Maybe I can get it at BUNKA shop in Madrid where they sell DACE!
