Desperatly looking for the shack of designer Isabel Marrant and Jeromy Dreyfuss in France with no luck. Where did I saw it today? In what blog? I was sure it was the NY times…but anyhow NY times allways has great slideshows of homes and now I found a photo of this so perfect in every way childs room. The whole wall to paint on, the light coming in, the use of antique furniture..the lamp and one of my all time favorite interior item: the globe. The color of the walls and the geographic patterned carpet makes perfection.
…but i still wonder: where are all the toys? the mess? … the crayons for making those drawings. I know I know its a photoshoot but still.
Have a lovely weekend! I so need it!

The Brook Farm General Store...I would love to have one in my neighbourhood! Come over the Atlantic and build one here too!
Love the soft colors and that seems the natural handfeel and feelgood-ness about it all!
from Stubby Pencil studio makes you want to sit down a creat, draw, mold, play! And all is either recycled or eco with a huge thought put in for the design! I love the sight and their products. Shame it’s so expensive to ship from the States to Barcelona…

Oh Danish design! I adore it. FERN living has a top 10 point spring summer collection – I want everything and especially their organic bedding for kids. Lovely!

I found this wondefull DIY project over at dana’s blog. If I had a girl I would defenatly steal her dads shirt and make her a dress. Now i have a boy so I just have to figure out what else we can make out of his dad’s stolen shirt. Anyways isn’t it so cute!

Through the superb site BABYCCINO I found out about this HK on-line store that sell all kinds of childrens stuff! The HOKUSADABRA site has a fun and friendly layout – i really like it! – and lods of stuff that are ecologic, recycled and BPA free. See my favorites below: crayon stones, kids organizer, dinos, tooth fairy certificiate, contruction, lunchbok and cubes for storing, sitting and learning.

Dear followers,
just came back from buying my lunch and im so upset. If you see a father give his son a really hard smack over his neck cuase he dropped a glas while having lunch at a restaurant: shall you say something or just ignore it? Im not talking about grabbing the arm a little bit and telling him firmly what he is doing wrong. No im saying a hard smack on the neck with force that I heard and saw while passing by… I think sometimes not interfering is like aproving the behavior. I know sometimes its hard and sometimes its scary cuase people are crazy out there. I told him that i thought that was not necessary and he looking at me crazy as mad as thought he wanted to wrip me apart. I got a little bit scared. Its my kid! Who are you to interfere?!? He screamed. And he his right: its his kid. But that kid will not grow up happy and he will do the same mistakes as his father. And that is sad.
Let me know what you think,
Helena
