Desperatly looking for the shack of designer Isabel Marrant and Jeromy Dreyfuss in France with no luck. Where did I saw it today? In what blog? I was sure it was the NY times…but anyhow NY times allways has great slideshows of homes and now I found a photo of this so perfect in every way childs room. The whole wall to paint on, the light coming in, the use of antique furniture..the lamp and one of my all time favorite interior item: the globe. The color of the walls and the geographic patterned carpet makes perfection.
…but i still wonder: where are all the toys? the mess? … the crayons for making those drawings. I know I know its a photoshoot but still.
Have a lovely weekend! I so need it!
Browsing through the web I found in the Gaurdian this super interesting article about how to achieve the ever so trendy industrial kitchen.I does seem to be the new it regarding interior… i see it a little bit on all the blogs i follow.Sort of an extension from shabby chic no? But cleaner looking. I adore it!

Its late. My boy just went of to sleep and I had a cup of cerial infront of ETSY. Thank god for ETSY! Who ever had that idea really really got lucky. Anyhow I love to see how many creative people there are out there and this is one of my favorite places for that. Allthough its not allways ‘green’ materials there are 3 basic rules to participate in ETSY: handmade, vintage or selling craft accessories…so its all about back to basic and supporting the artist. And a lot of them still use organic cottons etc so…
